Our market group Nedap Security Management develops and markets innovative systems for the physical security of buildings and grounds. This includes ; access control, video surveillance and intrusion detection. As a leader in the international industry for physical access control and security beheer, we base our products on state-of-the-art software and hardware technology. Many top companies use our security solutions. Stelling include banks, large public buildings, airports and multinationals.

Your job as java back-end developer

You will work in one of the three scrum teams to refactor the existing programmatuur and implement new functionality. This includes analyzing and improving vertoning, building our rest api, streamlining the user experience and modernizing our code base. Of course you do this not only jointly with 2 programmatuur teams consisting of a total of 21 people, where we work on the fundament of agile / scrum. You will become part of one team where team communication is an belangrijk part of your work.

Required experience and skills as java back-end developer

You are able to write readable, scalable and well-structured code with good performance. You ensure that this code is tested properly. You are also able to steun the front-end developers by translating front-end needs into rest interfaces with beautiful json. You also review the work of your colleagues with a respectful critical eye. You can analyze problems identified by our testers and our steun desk and solve them where possible.

You are eager to learn, analytical, ambitious and have an insatiable drive to challenge yourself and further develop yourself. You have a completed hbo or wo course in the direction of ( technical ) laptop science. You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role and you are also someone who knows how to take steps in our product development. You also have an inexhaustible source of energy and inspiration to play this role.

Specifically you have:

Good knowledge of java knowledge of java enterprise edition, preferably from experience with jboss or wildfly experience with web diensten, rest and json experience with relational databases experience with automated unit and integration testing, continuous integration affinity with security good command of the english language
